Heated rear windscreen checking
There are several methods to determine whether a vehicle heated rear windscreen is operating correctly, although probably the fastest and most accurate system to verify the behavior of these components is by measuring temperature through thermal cameras.
Thermal imaging cameras allow us to determine accurately if any of the conductive ceramic tracks in the crystal are damaged or malfunctioning. Using traditional methods of electrical measurement, you could only know if the window did not work properly, but it was impossible to know which of its components could be failing. Measuring systems based on thermal imaging cameras also determine the speed at which the system reaches operating temperature, and if this temperature exceeds proper limits.
